Unaware

Jade's POV

I was sitting in the coffee shop when I noticed someone looking in the window right at me. They had a black hoodie on with sunglasses in the middle of summer. Something didn't feel right about it. I was definitely uneasy and knew at that point that they were the reason I felt like I was being followed. They seemed familiar. The way they stood, the hair sticking out from under their hood, the shape of their mouth and that fucking smirk.

I looked away from him and down at my hand that held what looked like a mood ring, but in truth it was what let me have my powers. Without it I would have to use a wand.

I rubbed my thumb over it knowing something bad was going to happen when I left the shop but hoped I could get back to my room before it did. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before standing and walking out the door to face my hell.

Hooded Man's POV

I leaned against the cold glass of the window and watched her breathing become erratic as she exited the run down coffee shop. A sly grin came across my face when I realized how fun this was going to be.

She looked right over at me and I saw the fear that lie upon her eyes. I licked my lips but didn't move an inch. She stood there staring at me like she was trying to figure out who I was. This made me laugh, in turn it made her jump.

She quickly turned aand walked in the opposite direction. I waited a few moments before moving away from the window and following her unnoticed. This made me grin widely as she walked on unaware that she had a stalker of sorts.

This woman was beautiful and I would make her mine if it was the last thing I done. She was alone today. Unlike a few days ago when she traveled with several others always staying close to the one man. But they were nowhere to be seen today.

I followed her right back to her hotel and crossed the street to the apartment building directly in front of it.

I went up to my apartment and looked out my bedroom window where I could see her standing in her room. I sat down and began to colaborate my plan.
